Plant Project Manager – Location Grand Prairie The role of the Project Manager is to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to scope, timeline and budget. This includes directing or advising internal/external resources in a matrixed organization and coordinating the efforts of team members to ensure the timely delivery of projects.
You will make an impact by:
- The scope of work includes overseeing detailed engineering, manufacturing, factory customer acceptance testing, and delivery in a fast-paced engineer to order environment.
- Order content review, engineering approval process (submittal, on-board approval, and return), certified order planning.
- Proactively lead changes in project scope to improve success and minimize risk to the customer and the company.
- Meet with Project Manager Peers to take detailed kick off meeting briefs and clarify specific requirements for the contracted scope of the project(s).
- Where required, negotiate with other department managers for the acquisition of required personnel from within the company.
- Order content manager, delivery date management, final ship, and location/call ahead function.
- Third party buyout content owner – supplier evaluation, quote, and purchase order generation.
- Project Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) Readiness review process, planner, and process execution owner.
- Internal/External customer communication regarding delivery, delays, and customer acceptance.
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members in a timely and clear fashion.
- Maintain the relationships across support Project Manager Peers as well as internal partners.
- Coach, mentor, encourage and supervise project team members and customers, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
- Build, develop, and grow business relationships vital to the success of the project.
- Experience in proper stakeholder management (internal/external).
You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- 3+ years’ experience in project management, with a successful track record of leading and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Knowledge of ERP, preferably SAP
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project)..
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of Manufacturing Scheduling

• The pay range for this position is $65,240 - $111,840. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
