Siemens Smart Infrastructure is looking for a Program & Project Manager to oversee, monitor & coordinate project and service operations and bridge between Sales, Service & Projects to ensure maximum efficiency and profitability of the client service and maximize client satisfaction for our Key Accounts Smart Healthcare in the Regional Solutions & Services business unit. These Key Accounts are located in Flanders and Brussels.

As a Program Manager you are the link between the customer and Siemens' services (HVAC controls, Fire Safety & Security). You apply a holistic and technical-strategical approach and maintain a straight helicopter view in your decision-making, considering their impact on the broader organization.
You are responsible for the successful realization and compliance of all operational activities (project execution and services activities, ...) at your customers. You therefore guarantee the quality of all services provided with the aim of excellent customer satisfaction. You coordinate the processes and teams that report to you.
You take a leading role in the business development activities at your customer and determine the accurate strategy for this together with the account manager. You know how to translate innovative technology into concrete business opportunities, you see opportunities and know how to translate them into our portfolio.
You act as a single point of contact for the customers assigned to you, both for the customer and for the internal organization.
This entails the following responsibilities:
- Project management: Actively participating in projects, organizing project review meetings, Profit & Loss responsibility, point of escalation for urgent cases, complex claim management.
- People management: support, coordinate and monitor a team of 4-5 people, including capacity planning, evaluations, staffing needs, coaching and definition of training/career plans. The team consists of project managers, commissioning engineers, service technicians and small job engineers.
- Client Management: You closely monitor the activities, technology and needs of the customer and are focused on continuous process optimization. You act as a single point of contact for your customer and ensure an optimal relationship with your customer. You organize meetings with customers, carry out site visits and you deal with customer problems in an efficient way.
- Process optimization: guarantee the maximum efficiency and profitability of your project & team. Monitor and follow-up of project performance. Determine key priorities and risk identification (+ allocate appropriate actions). Accountable to increase performance (speed of execution, cost reduction and client satisfaction).
- Proposal and customer management: support sales colleagues to convince prospective clients and drafting of suitable proposals, negotiate complex cases/files along with the Sales colleagues. You will collaborate actively with all the project teams, from sales to operations, to ensure that all the client’s requirements are met.
- Change management: adapt your team to conforming market reality and keep up to speed with the newest technologies. Engage in resource and competencies planning. Accountable to define/determine new working styles if needed.
Who are you?
- You have solid experience in a technical role in project/operations management.
- You have solid skills in leadership, communication, and cross-departmental collaboration.
- You are results focused, have a very good analytical mind, can manage urgent tasks if necessary and can handle pressure while maintaining a very good team spirit.
- You are positive, constructive and charismatic and able to promote projects for all their stakeholders (internal and external) while being a source of proposals and creating enthusiasm.
- You have good presentation and excellent communication skills.
- Fluency in English and Dutch is required. French is an added value.
