Production Operator – Llanberis – North Wales

Do you want to contribute to the future of healthcare? We're looking for a Production Operator to join our Healthcare Diagnostics business based at the well-established and modern manufacturing and distribution facility in Llanberis, Wales. The facility, located in the Snowdonia National Park, manufactures and distributes reagents used in hospitals worldwide to aid the diagnosis of medical conditions.

Your responsibilities will include:

· Follow defined written procedures and complete documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

· Operate and comply to high standards of GMP and report any non-compliances.

· Manufacture products to defined specifications and ensuring stock records are accurate at all times.

· Comply with all Health and Safety policies and procedures at all times and to highlight Health and Safety issues.

· Safe handling of hazardous biological and chemical materials.

· Set up, calibrate and operate manufacturing equipment.

· Perform measurements and calculations to ensure work conforms to specifications and report non-compliant results.

· Comply to all cleaning, maintenance and quality system activity schedules.

· Actively participate in continuous improvement processes to collectively or individually achieve measurable performance improvements.

Your experience will include:

· Awareness of GMP/GDP.

· Experience of working in a LEAN organisation.

· Basic knowledge of general manufacturing processes desired but not essential, full training will be provided.

Working hours:

· Monday to Friday, weekly alternating shift pattern (6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm).

· Overtime – may become available but only due to business requirements.
