Embedded Software Project Manager, EV Charging (m/f/d)

As an IT Project Manager you are responsible for the definition and delivery of software products from a customer and market requirements point of view, interacting with Product Managers regarding content, prioritization and quality for a given time frame. You are a technical lead for the product life cycle and the main contact for the defined products both internally and externally. You use your product expertise to provide the SW development teams with complete, consistent, and prioritized requirements. You motivate, support, and assist the team to deliver on their commitments.
Your mission will be…
- Collaborate with Product Managers, System and Software Architects to translate customer requirements, system requirements and change requests into a prioritized backlog of software requirements (Features and User Stories);
- Work with the Product Management team to manage and prioritize the Team Backlog per the product vision and roadmap;
- Coordinate cross-feature-area development with peers to facilitate prioritized product development;
- Clarify the development team's questions and resolve conflict regarding features and requirements;
- Analyze customer reported defects;
- Achieve commitments with the development teams and motivate, support, and assist them to deliver value;
- Ensure quality by evaluating results of iterations and either approve / accept or reject results based on the Definition of Done;
- Support effort estimations by the development teams;
- Deliver input for project planning & execution;
- Work in an agile team and support other team members in their learning journey;
- Partner closely with product management, engineering, quality assurance, sales, and professional services teams;
- Create status reports, report on product development progress and plans to Product Mangers, peers, customers, and leadership team;
We are looking for someone with…
- Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science or related field;
- Experience as a Software Product Owner;
- Experience in embedded software development;
- Familiarity with agile software development processes (e.g., SCRUM, Kanban) and tools (Atlassian Jira/Confluence);
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions;
- Ability to manage stakeholders, coordinate developers and drive the creation of concepts for technical solutions;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- You are a team player that puts the team´s success #1;
- Knowledge of electrical systems, specifically EV charging solutions is highly desired;
