Our goal at Siemens is to be the #1 Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) provider. Polarion ALM has been recognised as leading ALM solution by many customers & analysts especially (but not only) when they develop the embedded software for smart products (automotive, medical, electronics).

The 'Polarion ALM' R&D team is since beginning (2004) based in Prague, traditionally with very strong product management presence. With 'software easting the world' we are seeing additional opportunities to tackle so we are growing the product team significantly.

The Product Manager will be responsible for end-to-end life cycle management for upcoming Polarion ALM portfolio additions, delivered on-prem, in the cloud, and in hybrid environments. The Product Manager will work collaboratively with other team members to help define release objectives and direction, leveraging learnings from customers and prospects. This role also requires researching competitors' products, assessing strengths and weaknesses, and determining how best to adapt and react. The Product Manager works closely with engineering, marketing, sales, and support to plan, implement, launch, and position new releases.

This role is expected to involve frequent outbound engagement with customers, prospects, analysts, partners, and sales. The ideal candidate will convey product passion and technical depth, while taking time to listen and understand the customer’s point-of-view.

Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree or equivalent.

• 3+ years of experience in product management.

• 3+ years of experience delivering enterprise software.

• Solid understanding of product management processes, experience in agile methodology, prioritization of requirements, competitive analysis, development of business cases, etc.

• Must be an articulate communicator, comfortable working with a wide variety of corporate executives, sales, marketing, engineering, operations, customers, and business partners.

• Familiarity with on-prem, hybrid, and cloud product offerings.
