Your future role.
- Your key responsibility is to secure competitive sourcing in global supply markets for our Low Voltage Business and to guide the Strategic Procurement to continuous optimization with latest trends, market indices and cost information.
- Being part of a global strategic procurement organization, you define the right approaches to mitigate risks from volatile material markets in close collaboration with Commodity Managers and local procurement teams.
- Leading dedicated projects you manage to implement state-of-the-art 2nd-Tier sourcing and related models in our supply chain and procurement contracts.
- Creative solutions for pricing indices / price formulas for our supplier contracts are an essential part of your proficiency.
- Our strategic buyers count on you and your information support when planning material cost and budgeting our purchasing activities.
- With your deep understanding of raw materials and global economic trends you are a valuable partner for our product managers, sales and finance community and a strong support to our Procurement Controlling.
Your profile.
- Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or comparable qualification
- At least 3-5 years of professional experience in strategic procurement or similar function in electromechanical industries
- Deep Knowledge of global economics, industrial supplier markets and purchasing contract management
- Experiences in sub-tier sourcing and contracting as well as in material cost reduction in an international environment
- Creative problem-solving skills and strategic way of working
- Strong communication skills, confident demeanor: question the status quo
- Cultural understanding/ People driven with empathy
- Bring different mindsets together, motivate people
- Success-orientated and creative solution finding paired with a hands-on mentality
- Analytic mindset with a passion for optimizing global supply chains
- Enthusiastic team player with a future oriented mindset (think out of the box)
- Fluent language skills in German and English
