Pressure Vessel Engineer
Location: Siemens Healthineers MagnetTechnology site in Oxfordshire.

Following a review of ourtechnology development strategy, we are strengthening our magnet engineeringteams, and currently have an outstanding opportunity for an experienced PressureVessel Engineer.  The successful applicant will join a multi-disciplinarygroup in our Engineering Department and will work to maintain our “state of theart” competence in design, analysis techniques and manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
·       Conductstress analysis, design, and optimization of pressure vessels and pipework
·       Performcode calculations and ensure compliance with the PED through EN13445 and otherrelevant industry standards.
·       Developdetailed engineering specifications, drawings, and documentation.
·       Collaboratewith cross-functional teams to address project requirements and technicalissues.
·       Providetechnical expertise to assist in troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairactivities.
·       Participatein design reviews and ensure designs meet performance, cost, and safetyobjectives.
·       Stayupdated on industry trends, codes, and standards to maintain cutting-edgeknowledge.

Skills& Qualifications:
·      Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical engineering
·       Experience in pressure vessel design and analysis.
·      Proficiency in using engineering software e.g.CAD and FEA tools. NX experience desirable.
·      Strong knowledge of EN13445 Pressure VesselCode required. Experience with other PV codes desired.
·      Excellent problem-solving skills and attentionto detail.
·      Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
·      Experience in cryogenic environments is a plus.
