About the role

We are currentlylooking for a dedicated Presales Solution Consultant – Simcenter (CAE) tojoin our exciting team.

Can you createmeaningful business relationships with customers and understand what a customerreally needs? Do you understand how to build real value through softwaresolutions? If that's a yes, then you could be at the heart of our Benelux Presalesteam!

The role requires youto have an expertise in the Simcenter simulation software capabilities for various industries, covering a wide area ofsolutions from our Xcelerator portfolio.

Presales are essentialto our sales process - they are the people that bring our products to life.They spend time understanding what customers need and match their requirementswith our products and offerings. Instrumental to a successful sales process,they show the powerful capabilities and opportunities with our industry leadingtechnology.

Area of responsibility

·       Respond promptly andprofessionally to requests for support from Portfolio Development and Sales,maintaining a schedule of commitments. Support requests could include, demo,benchmarks, responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) etc.

·       Present and demonstrate ourSimcenter solutions in a sales pursuit, in the context of a particularcustomer’s business need, with an emphasis on business value.

·       Work with customers in aconsultative mode to assist in their deployments and further implementation ofthe solutions, including delivery of training.

·       Competitive analysis andfeedback on market trends and development to the Portfolio Development andSales Management.

·       Have a clear and up-to-dateunderstanding of Simcenter simulation capabilities and limitations and be ableto clearly communicate to Product Development any gaps that have an impact oncustomer success and work effectively to achieve capability improvements.

Your qualifications

·       Strong experience in Presalesor Service/consulting roles for CAE, preferably Simcenter-based.

·       You feel comfortable in alllevels in a company you talk to, project and department leaders as well as tothe executives and C-Level.

·       Knowledge of one or more CAEtools, preferable with a structural background

·       Experience from theautomotive, aerospace, or mechanical industries.

·       Basic knowledge of PLM conceptswould be desirable.

·       Self-supporting, able towork without supervision, able to travel away for short periods.

·       We are a true Benelux team,with offices in Leuven and Eindhoven. You want to become a true member of thepresales team and are willing to join the team on location regularly.

·       High level of initiative,teamwork, flexibility, willing to learn.

·       Educated to degree level inengineering or related technical subject area.

·       English language spoken andwritten to a high level of proficiency. Dutch language is highly appreciated, Frenchlanguage is a plus.
