Position Overview

Sales Specialist to sell POC Informatics portfolio(software, services, support) for defined territory.

Manage fiscal Orders and Revenue targets for definedterritory. Field specialist for POC Informaticsbusiness (sales, primary liaison to implementation team and support).

The position will report to the NAM National CommercialDirector for POC Informatics.

Responsibilities

 This sales role requires a specialist with deep healthcareindustry knowledge, a solid understanding of a wide range of Siemens productsand solutions, and partner offerings. The role will collaborate on sales callsto senior business executives (CEO, COO, CMO, CFO, department leadership), LabDirectors, Professional Services, IT leadership (Director level), and Point ofCare Coordinators. The role requires a proven track record in successfullymanaging and closing complex software sales in large and enterprise accounts.

Candidates should have experience selling and delivering tohealthcare providers in:

   - Healthcare Informatics, Business Intelligenceand Analytics AND either of the following

   - Clinical and Quality Operations

   - Point-of-Care/Laboratory Diagnostics

Product Management experience is preferred.

This individual will be on the forefront of Siemensevolution from a recognized global leader across the Healthcare Sector to aServices and Solutions oriented company that delivers business, clinical andoperations value to the health industry. The position will own theorchestration across several strategic services and product components,integrating with an overlay team which can include Key Account Managers, SalesSpecialists, Sales Directors, Product Managers, Implementation Engineers,Partner Management, Strategy Corporate Accounts; accordingly, the ability towork effectively in a team setting and manage multiple large opportunities iscritical.

This role requires an experienced software sales, services,and strategy background with +10 years selling across a national territory.

In addition, this candidate must have demonstrated workexperience with technical understanding of: computer software technology;strong project management and account development skills; deep knowledge of thehealth IT industry as well as the C Level business challenges, includingenterprise customer requirements; knowledge of the business and clinicaldrivers for enterprise accounts; excellent communication, presentation andorganizational skills; and competitive product and services knowledge.

 Ability and willingness to travel up to 80 percent of thetime is required.

 Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

 Domain       

  • 2 + years in an information technology department or salesrole, and/or
  • 2 + years in a Quality, Administrative department or salesrole, and
  • 7-10+ years working in the Healthcare Information Technologyand Services market.
  • Strategy / Sales        
  • 8-10+ years in direct Healthcare IT Strategy and / or Sales
  • Complex deal experience (e.g. clinical healthcare IT dealsthat exceed $10 million dollars in booking revenue)
  • Evidence of multiple "presidents club"achievements.
  • Quota responsibility of at least $3 million in salesachievement.

Business Management

  • Working knowledge of bookings, sales and revenuerecognition.
  • Experience in a matrix/influence management model
