PM & Technical Sales Support - Siemens - AUSTRIA

Job description

Provides Pre- and/or After-Sales support for customers / Partner & sales teams for technical issues (product, application, configuration). Performs technical and operational support, remotely or on-site, to integrate products into customers' technical infrastructure or their products.

What part will you play?

• In-depth technical expertise in Building Automation Products and Systems (BMS, HVAC, KNX, Niagara, Desigo CC, programming of field controllers etc.) is essential.

• Additional technical knowledge of Fire Safety Products (Fire Alarm, Danger Management System, Public Announcement and Voice Alarm, Extinguishing, etc.) and Security Products (Access Control, VMS, Integration Software, etc.) is a plus.

• Assist customers and Sales with technical product selection, system configuration, technical specification, application questions and other pre-sales technical support

• Performs site surveys to develop base design or installation plans.

• Completes technical analyses and supports proposal process at any stage as part of the sales team.

• Analyzes customers' technical setup to better judge on pre- and/or after-sales support requirements.

• Acts as standardized interface to customer with escalation paths within RC and escalation paths towards HQ

• Perform internal or external product trainings.

• Looks after technical information and documentation of the assigned product families and its distribution to sales organization and customers. Maintain and localize the technical library and documentation. Provides project-specific (on-site, Remote etc…) technical support if requested by the sales organization / customer.

What you need to make real what matters.

• Minimum 3-8 years of work experience in similar areas

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering

• Proficiency in MS Office Applications

• Advanced level of English
