PLM Project Lead (PL)

Skills:- 

Knowledge and Experience in Project Management (Planning, Control, Risk Management)

Knowledge about and Experience in applying Standard Software Development Processes (e.g. Agile, SCRUM, V-Model, SAFe)

Knowledge and Experience in Conflict Management / Escalation Management, Leadership and Management Methods

Knowledge about the Medical Domain is an added advantage.

Role profile:-

1) The Project Lead is responsible to achieve the defined project milestones including analyzing and assessing project risks and planning and controlling project

risks/issues related measures. 

2) Leads the projects through all PLM phases which includes the project setup, planning, driving, and controlling the execution. This comprises overall project monitoring and reporting including escalations. Ensure timely feedback with all stakeholders. (Partner Management) . Regular reporting both to line management as well as to partners on project status and escalation if required.

3) Manage change requests regarding project goals (schedule, cost, content and quality).

4) Report the project status to management and other stakeholders

5) Identify and assign project team (together with Line Manager), set goals and take initiative to build cohesive team; Ensure required project working environment and setup, e.g. procurement of equipment, availability of relevant software tools (Procurement and Logistics).

6) Identify opportunity to improve productivity and efficiency with lower costs for the customer, proactively reduce non-conformance costs. Ensure use of optimized quality processes and encourage team to participate in process improvements. projects identify, analyze, mitigate, and control project risks. Conduct product risk assessment and understand regulatory/safety requirements. 

7) Consolidate and mitigate risks from multiple projects and manage risks pro-actively. (Risk, Opportunity, Issue Management). Ensure compliance with partners and organizational processes. 

8) Set clear expectation of business integrity as per Siemens guidelines and extend full support in terms of creating awareness, pro-actively intervention and reporting of non-compliant behavior

9) Represent the project in internal and external audits.
