About the role
Are youwilling to take an internal opportunity to extend your scope andresponsibilities? We are looking for the new Pipeline Team Lead,to coordinate the activities of the Pipeline Operations engineers.
Being ateam lead is a great opportunity to be a key player, managing your team toactively get the job done and achieve success and objectives :
• You are proactive on progress, risksand issues and seamlessly integrate and work with other Simcenter Ops Scrumteams and stakeholders (PD, TD, STAR-CCM+, FloTherm) within the Simcenter Operationslandscape.
You leadand mentor a team of technical professionals, providing guidance and support todrive performance and professional development. You are able to impact bestpractices by making recommendations on process and technology. You drive yourteam to be flexible & adaptive to changes onbusiness/architecture/technology/process/organization.
Participatingin the Pipelines Scrum team and supporting the team’s support goals and roadmap,you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing Pipelineworkflows to automate and streamline the software delivery process.
In thisnew role, interactions, cross-collaboration, and leadership are essential:
• As a strong leader, you maintainexcellent team management relationships with direct reports and further developtheir maturity and skills.
• You are responsible for fostering aculture of close collaboration between development and release management asthis will be essential to deliver software products according to predeterminedschedules.
• In addition, for some complexprojects that require expertise, you act as an individual contributor, tofacilitate the technical execution, mentor junior developers and ensure codequality and design.
Your qualifications
We wouldlove to hear from you and welcome applicants with diverse educationalbackgrounds, and while a degree in computer science or related field ispreferred, equivalent experience in software development management and stronginterest in leadership challenges will also be considered.
You shouldcome with expertise in Python software development but also experience withAgile process, along with at least basic knowledge of gitlab, ci/cd, Jira, andConfluence.
Thanks toyour excellent communication skills in English, you build positiverelationships with your colleagues and people reporting to you. You are astrong team player and creative thinker who can work with multi-cultural,globally dispersed technical teams.
