The PayrollSpecialist will respond to standard and complex payroll related inquiries fromcustomers or employees. They will prepare reports from Workday and auditthe payroll against those reports. In this role, we work in a team environment,coordinating with other team members in the processing of payroll. Otherresponsibilities include:
KeyResponsibilities:
· Bea part of a 3-person Team responsible for 4 payrolls, 2 US and 2 Canadian
- Interface with employees and research and solve potential payroll issues
- Work with other groups both internal and external for data needed to process payrolls
- Help on US payroll audits for final approval
- Make entries for bonuses, time, new hires, terms for 2 Canadian payrolls
- Write verification letters for employees
· Apply documented rules, past practices, or instruction on anindependent level
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-5 years of payroll experience
- Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel and Word
- Proven proficiency in understanding payroll regulations, laws and processes.
- Demonstrated understanding of payroll knowledge and principles
- Proficient computer, organizational, analytical, research and problem solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, flexibility, and a willingness to learn new things.
- ADP and Workday experience is a plus

The hourlyrange for this position is $31.44 to $56.58 and this role is eligible to earnincentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on thesuccessful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, includingjob-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
