What part will you play?
The successful candidate will assist in overseeing and managing the department’s overall supply chain and logistics strategies to maximize both process efficiencies and productivity. In addition, they will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining successful and collaborative relationships with vendors and distributors. In a currently very difficult supply chain market, we are looking for a talented and ambitious young professional to support our ongoing business-critical activities to ensure a stable supply of materials from our worldwide supplier base.
- Assists in the planning, purchasing, scheduling and monitoring of the movement of materials through the Supply Chain
- Assists in addressing inquires related to material requirements, shipments and customer order fulfillment
- Assists in working with vendors to secure materials to support the production schedule/requirements
- Assists in managing projects with respect to key initiatives both within the department and cross-functionally throughout the organization
- Provides routine support to Supply Chain team with regards to data entry, coordination of information flow and project coordination
What you need to make real what matters
- 2nd or 3th year undergraduate student in faculty of Industrial Engineering / Management / Business Administration / Economics or a related area.
- Able to work 2-3 days/week in Gebze during winter time, 4-5 days/week during summer time.
- Very good command of written and spoken English.
- Good command of MS Office applications
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
- Flexible and good team player.
- Result orientation with strong analytical thinking.
- Open minded and highly collaborative.
