Your new role – challenging andfuture-oriented:

You will be responsible for preparation of detail design forelectrical systems, standard technical specifications, Design of electricalpanels, Preparation and testing of interconnection diagrams, Single LineDiagrams (SLD’s) in COMOS tool. The job includes engineering of Electrical componentor package and continuous improvement of standards. The position will be basedin Gurgaon, India, in the global challenging technical environment in theGlobal Customer Operations, Electrical Systems department. You will have toclosely coordinate with the Electrical Systems department in Erlangen, Germanyfor Large Turbines (LRE) to R&D or Customer Projects and site support.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for component designfor Electrical systems, Battery Charger systems, Generator CTs and Protectionsystem, Low Voltage (LV) Switch gear, LV transformer, Electrical actuationsystems, Power Control Centers (PCCs) from concept to Detail Design.
• ou would ensure that thespecifications of this engineering function are in accordance to the applicablerules, regulations codes and standards and according to good engineeringpractice especially with regard to Environmental aspects and Health & Safetyof Site Personal, Operators, Maintenance personnel and third parties.
• Responsible for Detail Design of Electricalsystem and panel design using databases and tools,
• Wiring instructions, BOMS, Cable routing & planning.
• Responsible for electricalinterconnections and SLD preparation in Comos.
• Responsible for electricalproposal activities in LRE.
• Involved in most of the Faultreports in the technical area assigned. Decide and take an active   
• part in creating and sustaining the road map for the component.
• Be active in benchmarkingknowledge internal / external Siemens. Shall aim to be the one  
• with best knowledge for the electrical systems and detaileddesign.
• Giving & Working on Costsavings ideas.
• Document and drive implementationin PLM2020, SAP. Release and maintain reference  
• documentation in COMOS, PLM2020, Team Centre or related databases.
• You would participate inengineering interface reviews & meetings
• You would provide technicalassistance to Customer / Strategic Procurement Management /   
• Erection & Commissioningteams.

We don’t need superheroes, just super minds:

• Bachelor/Master’s in Electrical Engineering or other comparabledegree
• Electrical Engineering knowledge in large turbinesystems, electrical generators including related auxiliary systems.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant engineering work experience
• Total Experience of 3 to 10 years
• Ability to travel globally
• Excellent team player to support and serve the global team
• High flexibility in taking new tasks/responsibilities
• Proactive and Solution Oriented. Ability to Pull inputs andinteract with interface partners.
• Excellent communication skills, Excellent English language skills
