Job description

Siemens, a global leader in electrification and automation, is seeking a talented individual to join our team as a People & Organisation (P&O) Business Partner. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting the Electrification and Automation business unit, working closely with leadership to optimize our workforce and enhance the employee experience.
Critical to your success, will be your ability to be confident in providing sound and relevant advice on a range of people management topics across employee relations, policies, process interpretation, compliance and quality. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic HR programs (including people development, compensation and benefits implementation, organisational development and change) in line with the company’s people strategy and values. You will be flexible in your approach and be able to work both autonomously, and within a highly productive team environment.
This role will be a 12 month fixed term contract initially, with a view to permanency. It can be based from either our Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne office.
Key responsibilities:
• Partner closely with the E&A Business Unit to provide strategic HR support
• Drive initiatives that align with the business objectives and contribute to the overall company success
• Lead and deliver on organisation-wide projects, ensuring the successful execution of key initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance employee engagement, talent development and organisational effectiveness
• Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing expert guidance on HR matters.
What you bring:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
• Proven experience as an HR Business Partner, with a focus on supporting a business unit
• Strong project management skills with the ability to drive initiatives from conception to completion
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels within an organisation
• Demonstrated ability to navigate complex organisational structures and influence positive change.
