What will you do?

We are currently seeking a motivated Operational Excellence Specialist for our organization. The Operational Excellence Specialist will implement continuous improvement initiatives across various company departments to improve operational efficiency and overall performance. The position demands a solid grasp of business processes and strategic thinking, along with the ability to implement best practices when achieving organizational objectives.

Reporting to the Director, Quality & Operational Excellence, the chosen candidate will help monitor the factory’s various processes. They will help all factory departments maintain their processes. In addition, the candidate will actively participate in the ISO management system, along with internal and external auditing processes.

Tasks:

• Work with multidisciplinary teams to identify and improve processes;
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement by fostering process excellence, innovation, and knowledge sharing within the organization;
• Monitor various factory processes (training, production, purchasing, etc.);
• Audit department processes, along with ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 standards;
• Take part in audit management;
• Help develop and improve procedures and processes;
• Help various departments develop and maintain their processes;
• Act as main assistant to the Director, Quality Management & Operational Excellence in the completion of mandates.

What will you need to succeed?

• University degree in a related field (supply chain, logistics, industrial engineering, etc.);
• Auditor training;
• ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 training an asset;
• Knowledge of MS Office Suite;
• Knowledge of SAP an asset;
• Excellent knowledge of French and English, both written and spoken, to help interact with colleagues at the national level;
• Solid understanding of performance indicators and quality management systems;
• Good communication and interpersonal skills;
• Highly developed sense of resourcefulness;
• Versatility, conscientiousness and vigilance.
