In this role you will bea member of an innovative R&D development team with a primary focus ondevelopment of mask synthesis flows and solutions for patterning processes. TheProduct Engineer role provides an extraordinary opportunity to help define andsupport the development of enabling RET/OPC capabilities for next-generationlithography processes. The PE role requires close collaboration with R&Dsoftware engineering, product marketing, and our customers. This position workswith the Calibre Senior OPC Product Manager.

Responsibilities includeproviding in-depth technical support and training to our customers, definingand characterizing new capabilities, supporting research partnerships, andworking closely with Product Marketing to communicate the value and benefits ofnew features and capabilities.

RequiredKnowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

  • BSEE, MSEE/ MS or Ph.D. Physics, Physical Chemistry, Material Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science required.
  • The ideal candidates for this role would have strong interest in supporting enabling software technology for RET.
  • Candidates should have a working familiarity with Unix and Linux OS, and previous experience with TCL, Perl, Python scripting, or C programming, while not vital, is desirable.
  • A good understanding of semiconductor processing and lithography, in particular, is highly desirable.
  • A detailed understanding of OPC/RET is a plus, as is any experience with OPC modeling, OPC set-up, lithographic processing, and OPC software development.
  • The position requires well-developed written and oral communication skills.
  • Ph.D. and minimum 3 years of proven industry experience, or MS and minimum of 5 years of industry experience desired.

This position will besubject to U.S. export control requirements under the International Traffic inArms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Employment is contingent on either verifying the U.S. Person status orobtaining any necessary export license.  

The salary range forthis position is $101,200 to $182,200 and this role is eligible to earnincentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on thesuccessful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, includingjob-related skills, experience, and relevanteducation/training.  Siemens offers a variety of health and wellnessbenefits to employees.
