Site Quality Inspector – Siemens Gamesa Offshore – UK Site Based

We now have an exciting opportunity for a Site Quality Inspector – Offshore. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring that all SGRE site quality processes are performed and requirements are met.
What are my responsibilities?
In this role, you will be responsible for implementing the quality plan and for ensuring that all work is performed in agreement with applicable standards. You will perform site quality inspections, complete and manage quality documentation (eg. Inspection records, dispositions, certificates, etc) and create and manage non-conformance reports and ensure that non-conformances are closed.
You will also monitor component storage and condition and ensure that site processes are followed. You will report the quality status and quality incidents and problems (regarding supplies, process conformance and process performance) to Project Quality Management.
This role requires you to maintain a professional and productive engagement with the customers’ quality representative in line with procedure and contractual requirement.
What do I need to qualify for this job?
Ideally, you will have a technical qualification with experience from the Wind industry. You will also have experience from the construction industry and experience with dealing with subcontractors. This role requires the ability to work within a process environment, undertake process improvement and promote a healthy and safe working environment. You will also have experience in leading teams and managing sub-contractors.
