The Commercial Advancement Training Scheme


·       Thelearner will be given a in initial 18-month learnership contract that willprovide valuable workplace experience while studying part time.

·       Learnerscompleting the initial requirements of the learnership may be given furtheropportunity to continue with follow-up qualifications.

·       Youwill be required to perform a range of standardized administrative tasks withclose supervisory guidance in support of the function that you placed in. 

·       Specificresponsibilities may include (but are not limited to) preparing presentationmaterials, calendar management, travel arrangements, creating reports, copying, 

        reviewing outside mail, drafting correspondence, screening phone calls andmaintaining an easy accessible filing system.

·       Youmay be required to support special projects on simple operational tasks (asrequired).

·       Recent matriculants or young dynamic persons eager tokickstart their career in an integrated technology company within the internalservices community. 

·       The successful candidates must be willing to studypart time towards the ICB Office Administration NQF L5 qualification which willrequire additional effort outside of the normal working hours.

·       Candidates considered will be those who share ourvalues and have a real commitment to building a better future for themselvesand South Africa.

Requirements:


·      Betweenthe age of 18 and 24 years old

·      Musthave completed Grade 12 / Matric certification with English (first language) andAccounting with an 65% aggregate for both subjects.

·      Proficientin Microsoft Applications and an aptitude for learning new software andsystems.

·      Highlevel of honesty, integrity and be a team player.

·       Ability tolearn quickly to response / react quickly to changing priorities and to bededicated to completion of required tasks.

·      Learners will be requiredto work onsite at Siemens Park, Midrand when not attending class.
