Job Description

MEP Site Supervisor

Iraq - Basra, Hillah.

You will be responsible for overall building services installation on site against agreed programs and quality assurance documents. Provide tendering and design coordination support specifically for building services.

Coordinate on site building services activities with other disciplines
Notify the Mechanical Engineer/ Civil Site Manager in the case of discrepancies and propose swift and economical solutions.

Prepare daily, weekly and monthly site progress reports.
Obtain and review method statements and risk assessments well in advance to avoid delays during constructions.

Attend regular site meetings with subcontractor(s) to ensure availability of required material and resources.
Responsible for implementing QA System established on the site.

Ensure use of current drawings only and file superseded drawings.
Provide Red-Marked drawings signed by O/E and issue to PM/CM.
Record, register and maintain all field changes for easy reference.

Maintain the records of actual progress with respect to agreed programs with O/E and with Subcontractors and initiate actions to mitigate delays.

Maintain records and reasons for delays during construction stage.
Maintain and agree resources engaged on “Day works” after authorisation from the PM/CM.

Ensure full LSP, HVAC, Fire-fighting Subcontractor compliance with HSE requirements.
Discharge the duties outlined in the “Civil Site Supervisor's Manual” for the relevant building services sections of the Works.

Responsible for building services installation including HVAC, Fire-fighting, cranes and plumbing works for the designated section of works.

Ensure at all times that all sites are operating in line with the QA procedures,statutory, regulatory and EHS requirements.

Abide by and comply with the Siemens Compliance and Business Conduct Guidelines.
Always work and act as team player and constant sense of mutual support.

Requirements

-Good understanding of the English language.

- Mechanical or Electrical Diploma or Degree.

- Team player with an assertive and can do attitude.

- God knowledge of HVAC, Lighting and Fire fighting systems
