Position Overview:

As a MechanicalAssembler, you will support a range of activities in a high-energy productionenvironment putting together the final assembly to manufacture the best railvehicles in the world.

What yourday will look like:

  • Mechanicalassembly of components and sub-assemblies (according to engineering drawings,specifications, and work instructions).
  • Readingand understanding assembly drawings, bills of materials, and assemblyinstructions.
  • Safelyusing hand and power tools. Some certifications may be required to operatecranes, forklifts, etc.
  • Completework order documentation, quality documents, and clock your labor hours.
  • Followall safety requirements using all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

What weare looking for:

  • AHigh School Diploma or GED
  • Abilityto read and understand written instructions and communicate using the Englishlanguage.
  • GeneralMechanic background
  • Understandingof metric system measurements (preferred)


Startingpay - $18.00/hr. (plus shift premium – 10% for 2nd shift).

Applicantsmust be legally authorized for employment in the United States without needingcurrent or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

Upon offerof employment, candidates will be subject to a background check and drugscreen.

  • Frequentlywalk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Frequentlyrequired to climb stairs, steps, and ladders

  • Occasionallylift and move at most 40 pounds.
  • Specificvision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision,peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.
