Onshore Authorised Technician (Siemens Gamesa Technology)

We are now looking for enthusiastic experienced Technicians to join our Onshore Service Business with experience of leading team, WTSR Authorisations, and working on Siemens Gamesa Technology
What are my responsibilities?
As an Authorised Technician you will be part of a permanently employed dedicated service or troubleshooting team. You will be able to lead a team and carry out all of the duties associated with the fault diagnosis, service, maintenance and repair of Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy (SGRE) wind turbine generators. You will deliver excellent service and meantime between faults (MTBF) while ensuring compliance with SGRE internal processes and procedures, UK Legislation, EHS and Quality.

Some of your key tasks will include but not be limited to:
· Active safety leadership when in the turbine and in the Wind Farm - ensure correct reporting of incidents and accidents, near misses and unsafe acts and conditions. Exemplifying our #HomeSafe principles in every decision that you make.
· To lead Troubleshooting and Service teams delivering scheduled and unscheduled maintenance at site to EHS, quality, time and cost requirements. You will also support Senior Technicians with customer liaison
· Responsible for preparation and execution of work packages / tasks.
· Development of technician competency and mentoring within area of responsibility for SGRE technicians. Direct supervision and support of all technicians in team whilst on site.
· Liaises withother Field teams, Technical/engineering functions, service coordinator/planner function and senior technicians on any work package/task progress
· Maintain efficient timescales for delivery of service activities, assist in the creation of daily, weekly plans for site teams as in conjunction with Service Planner / Service Coordinator /Senior Technician
· Report service schedule progress to Service Planner / Service coordinator / Senior Technician for entry into IT systems & Ensure accurate reporting into and utilisation of MORS database and other electronic workflow systems.
What do I need to qualify for this job?
This role requires someone with experience working as an Authorised Technician within the wind industry, current valid Authorisation is not essential, just previous experience or leading teams and being able to demonstrate technical competence on either the Siemens or Gamesa technologies.
You will have experience of working with a large range of contractors and customers. You will have practical experience of working with MS Office applications and preferably SAP, GOT, MORS and other remote diagnostic tools.
You will be a competent individual who is able to work under pressure and Lead a team of service technicians. You will have the ability to work shifts at the project location (exact shift patterns tbc). This role also requires you to have some knowledge about health and safety legislations. Ideally you will have a Comprehensive understanding of and a consistent ability to demonstrate your own competency levels as a Maintenance or Troubleshooting Technician.
You will have excellent organisation skills and be able to adapt quickly to the changing requirements of the business. Lastly, this role requires someone with a driving license and the ability to undertake travel when required.
