We have a fantastic opportunity for a Materials Administrator to join our Logistics team in Siemens Mobility based in Poole.

As a Materials Administrator you will be responsible for supporting the Logistics Controller / Line Manager in maintaining and administering stock requirements as well as issuing and receiving of physical stock as and when required and to undertake any relevant duties on site.

The Challenge

·  Receive and unload stock from suppliers, couriers, and engineers ensuring all received goods are booked into SAP
·  Move and store all stock in and out of the warehouse in a safe and tidy manner and which is also in-keeping with the company's health and safety guidelines
·  Log parts into our traceability system whilst ensuring accuracy and contractual and company confidential information
·  Answer incoming calls promptly and in a polite and courteous manner
·  Notify the Logistics Controller of any stock and process related issues that become apparent on a day to day basis
·  Undertake appropriate training in line with the addition of new equipment and systems as and when necessary, via formal and informal training, including on the job training
·  Be aware of safety at work and be alert in identifying potential hazards by removing or minimizing them wherever possible by following all Health and Safety Procedures

The Materials Administrator (You)

·  Someone with previous experience of working in a warehouse or Goods receipt/despatch environment is preferred
·  Someone who is familiar with the process of receiving and checking goods in and out of a warehouse operation including order picking and packing of goods
·  Current forklift licence (counter balance) is preferred
·  Someone who can work on their own or as part of a team, work well with other people, communicate effectively within the team
