We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer experienced with PLC programming & Automation. This position will be based in Grand Prairie, TX.


You’ll make an impact by:
• Develop & implement & projects utilizing Siemens PLCs and TIA Portal while adhering to internally developed programming standards.
• Provide technical support, guidance, and training to production teams for PLC-related issues, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process & productivity improvement, equipment optimization, and automation opportunities.
• Design, integrate, & implement new production processes, fixtures, jigs, & machines
• Implementation of engineering change notifications including updates to label & laser printing, bills of materials, kanban materials, MES systems, & trace data.
• Participate in & lead improvement projects to increase OEE & productivity


You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
• 2 years’ experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in a manufacturing environment working with PLC’s.
• Ability to read electrical schematics & technical documentation.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing concepts
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications
• Basic familiarity with TCP/IP networking concepts
• Ability to work hands-on in a light manufacturing environment.


Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Siemens PLCs, HMIs & TIA Portal software
• Experience with Siemens Safety relays & Safety ES
• Familiarity with 3D & 2D CAD software
• Pneumatic system design, troubleshooting, & maintenance
• Experience with configuration & integration of computerized torque tools
• Familiarity with Modbus, TCP/IP, and/or CubicleBUS protocols

• The pay range for this position is $65,240 - $111,840. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
