We are searching for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at our Fort Worth, Texas plant. The responsibilities of the Manufacturing Engineer position will focus on the development, design, and production of fixtures, rigging, jigs, and other assembly-related tooling to assist in producing industrial electrical products, increasing the productivity, quality, and safety of our process. Collaboration in teams and individuals of diverse experience levels and backgrounds will be essential. Hands-on experience using 3D CAD, Rapid Prototyping, and various manufacturing processes to create complex fixturing and assembly tooling is desired. Attention to detail, time management, principal entrepreneurship, and a can-do attitude are essential to the success of the Tooling Engineer position.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of custom assembly solutions to increase productivity, quality control, inventory management, and process standardization
- Own solutions life cycle from prototype through execution
- Drive improvements in our Electrical and Mechanical assembly within product descriptions and specifications
- Develop drawings and documentation of fixturing solutions
- Development of documentation relating to the use, storage, and maintenance of solutions
- Audit and reporting of tooling status to ensure quality, effectiveness, and safety
You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline (preferred)
- Experience creating fixturing solutions to aid in the assembly and installation of subassemblies
- Advanced knowledge and use of 3D CAD packages (Inventor and CREO, preferred)
- Understanding of mechanical fastening, tolerance stack, and material specifications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with rapid prototyping technologies such as FDM, DMLS, and SLS.
- Experience in a Lean Manufacturing environment and process automation.

• The pay range for this position is $ $72,380 - $124,080. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
