Quality Assurance Analyst for Train Planning Systems


Your Tasks

  • You take over the responsibility for software engineering activities of requirement analysis, Test case design, Test case review, Manual testing of the component and system level in an international environment.
  • Engage in defect-verification, improving the existing test cases.
  • Verification and validation of Software applications.
  • System test, integration test, component tests, regression test, smoke test of the software applications developed.
  • Preparation and maintenance of Test environment or test infrastructure.

Your Profile

  • You have an university degree or equivalent experience in computer science .
  • You ideally have professional experience in software testing and/or test management.
  • Expertise in testing knowledge/skills (manual, automation, functional, non-functional, performance, load and stress).
  • Good Knowledge of software testing practices: crafting test cases, test set, test executions and test plans.
  • Good understanding of test and defect tracking tools (defect logging tools, test management tools, versioning systems, statistical tools, test automation tools etc...)
  • Good knowledge of tools: Jira, Xray, SoapUI, etc.
  • Knowledge of Ansible and Docker are nice to have.
  • Knowledge of SQL and other scripting languages (Bash, Python) are a plus.
  • Good analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability and interest to learn new domain & technologies.
  • It would be an advantage if you have an ISTQB certification or similar.
  • You have a self-organized and performance-oriented way of working with a strong "hands-on" mentality.
  • You have a distinctive, analytical ability and a detailed way of working as well as a high-quality awareness.
  • Good level in written and spoken English.
