Mode of Employment: Fixed Term 35h/Week

Then come and join our global team as an Intern (f/m/d) for Computer Vision, Automation and Human-Machine Interaction at the Innovation Think Tank.

Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.


Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • You support us in research tasks in the field of sensors and related areas for various applications in healthcare
  • You develop or improve computer vision software, utilizing relevant knowledge in computer vision and machine learning
  • You develop or enhance algorithms and applications for other types of sensor technologies
  • You will be involved in creating new use cases for product ideas at the pre-development stage

Your qualifications and experience:

  • You are currently pursuing a successful degree in Mechatronics, Software Engineering, Computer Science/Technology or another related field and you are at least in your 4th semester of the bachelor’s program or 1st semester of the master’s program
  • You have extensive knowledge in programming, sensor technologies, and data analysis, with prior work experience in these areas.

  • You have experience with MS Office programs (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook).

  • You possess good knowledge of C++ and Python
  • You are familiar with computer vision packages such as OpenCV, YOLO, MediaPipe, Numpy, etc.

  • You are characterized by your communication skills and time management
  • You possess deep curiosity and willingness to familiarize yourself with new areas
  • You can work independently and goal-oriented
  • You are skilled in critical thinking combined with the ability to clearly articulate your convictions
