Job description

Siemens Rail Systems are currently looking for a Data Analyst to join the Thameslink Project based from our newly builtThree Bridges Depot in Crawley. To ensure the accuracy and completeness of work orders within CORMAP. To assist the Commercial and Finance department in the analysis of Aesthetic, Incident and Material data.

What are my responisbilitys?

· Ensure the accuracy, completeness and coding of CORMAP work orders.
· Ensure that component serial numbers are recorded and tracked correctly
· Provide / develop a reporting system to identify areas for improvement in respect to CORMAP content data capture.
· Liaising with the Production Team / Performance Manager / CORMAP Administrator and
· Commercial Team to discuss CORMAP accuracy and required corrections and additional services and incidents claims.
· Take on the role of main interface between Production and CORMAP Support Teams.
· Provide a report of those items requiring clarification that are not resolvable at your level.
· Provide briefs detailing common errors requiring alteration / correction.
· Preparation of the weekly Aesthetics Exam claim and associated reviews.
· Drive the compliance culture of the Aesthetic and Incident business area; pro-actively participate in the processes for Aesthetic and Incident internal control, training, financial reporting and Customer Claims.
· Process Mapping of all work streams.

Meeting requirements of the commercial process or project task in line with the requirements of:

o Customer service

o CORMAP

o Timescales

o Cost Effectiveness

o Commercial Procedures / standards and instructions

What doI need to qualify for this role?

· Functional knowledge of specialist systems and procedures.
· Knowledge of the Rail business, components and systems.
· Experience with the following systems.
· CORMAP (Siemens implementation of MAXIMO)
· Report Manager
· Microsoft Office Programs, especially Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access
