Machine Operator - Side Channel, Level 3 - 2nd Shift

TheSiemens Industry, Inc. distribution center in Roebuck, SC is seeking a MachineOperator – Side Channel to be an integral member of a diverse anddynamic team. What will be theessential functions of this role?  In this role, you will:

• Ensure material flow through the line
• Cover any position in the line
• Understand and ensure schedule is followed as planned
• Report any shortages to GL or Supervisor to prevent a stop in production
• Work along with materials and other production areas to receive the right mix of material based on the schedule
• Support GL and Supervisor with cross training activities
• Act as backup for Group Leader as needed
• Realize 5S audits and propose corrective actions to GL/Sup
• Co-lead the CIP activities/projects

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 3yrs of manufacturing experience
• Basic computer skills
• SAP knowledge for confirmations and to look up materials
• Must be able to reach, grasp, lift 50lbs and push/pull/slide material
• Must become respirator fit tested to spray powder paint
• Must have 6pts or less for attendance
• Must have knowledge/experience working in a paint department
• Must be willing to work overtime

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Able to perform titration training for ISO compliance
• SAP or DMM experience.
• Welding experience
