The Siemens Industry, Inc. distribution center inRoebuck, SC is seeking an Assembler, Level 3, to be an integral memberof a diverse and dynamic team. As an Assembler, you will Assemble ormodify electromechanical equipment (Switchboards, etc.) with the use ofmechanical tools and blueprints. Responsibilities
As an Assembler, your responsibilities will includebut will not be limited to the following:
- Operate tools and equipment common to themechanical trade (e.g. hand & power tools).
- Process work orders (with the use ofcomputers, scanning devices, etc.) in adherence to the production schedule orexpedited orders.
- Scan in and out of work orders (with theuse of computers, scanning devices, etc.) in adherence to the productionschedule or expedited orders.
- Read and interpret documents associatedwith the completion of mechanical assembly assignments (e.g. blue prints, billof materials, one line diagrams, etc.).
- Gather parts and accessories required inthe assembly process.
- Assemble fabricated parts to create unitassemblies (Switchboards) or subassemblies.
- Fasten component parts on frames,subassemblies, or unit assemblies.
- Connect cables and basic wires.
- Verify that units meet specifications,tolerances, and customer order requirements.
- Disassemble units to adjust or replaceparts.
- Mark unit assemblies with identifyinginformation and/or attaches identifying tags.
- Report non-conforming items (e.g. parts,schematics, blue prints, etc.)
- Prepare finished units for shipping (e.g.packing, sealing, labeling, etc.)
- Clean and maintain equipment and work areato ensure proper functioning and safe working conditions.
- Access and utilize various documents, withthe use of computers, associated with the manufacture of products in assembly(e.g. Quality and Safety Documents, Operating Instructions, etc.)
- Perform other work as directed bySupervision.
You will have impact if you have the following:
Basic Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in Manufacturing
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Basic Computer Skills, and the use ofbasic mechanical/measuring tools
- Reach, grasp, lift 50 lbs, andpush/pull/slide heavy material and make coordinated movements of the hands andarms to grasp and move objects.

The actual wage offered may belower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge,skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
