This position is in the Technical Operations department, supporting the manufacture of ADVIA Centaur XP, CP and Atellica Immunoassay/Diagnostic products.
This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Laboratory Technician 3, your responsibilities will include the following:
· In your activities you will participate in and investigates manufacturing issues
· You will work in the laboratory running Centaur, CP, and Atellica instruments with serum and other biological fluids of human and animal origin.
· You will prepare buffers and reagent formulations as necessary.
· You will perform data analysis from experimental runs, and author internal reports and documentation.
· You will assist in authoring and executing characterization and verification protocols, as well as provide data for characterization reports and verification reports.

· You have protein chemistry and chromatography knowledge and experience
· You have proficiency with Microsoft Office
Required skills to have for the success of this role
· BS in Medical Technology, Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry
· 1+ year job related experience
· Good understanding and knowledge of polyclonal and monoclonal antibodies and principles of immunodiagnostic technology as well as experience with immunoassays.
· Ability to interpret data and to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
· Experience with automated immunoassay analyzers and/or ELISA and chemiluminescent technology
· Strong work ethic, excellent written and communication skills, and the ability to work as a project leader as well as independently.
· Must be flexible and demonstrate the ability to switch priorities to meet business needs.
