This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for thenext step in their career.  DrugEnforcement Agency (DEA) background check clearance is required.  This is a role well suited to an ambitiousprofessional, looking for the next step in their career.  As a Laboratory Technician 2, you willbe responsible for:

  1. Formulationand testing for reagents and calibrators on clinical analyzers.
  2. Followsmanufacturing work instructions and area procedures.
  3. Properdocumentation of production steps in batch records by following GoodDocumentation Practices.
  4. Complyingwith the quality system and regulatory agencies: FDA, DEA, ISO, OSHA, etc.
  5. Interactionwith cross functional teams including Technical Operations, R&D, Planning,etc.
  6. Partnershipwith support personnel to troubleshoot formulation processes.
  7. Operationof manufacturing equipment.
  8. Workingindependently and as part of a team.
  9. Identifyingproblems as they occur and suggesting appropriate steps to solve them insituations where the problem is not difficult or complex.
  10. Seekingadvice and guidance on non-routine or problem areas from others.

1.     Desirableexperiences may include formulation, troubleshooting, production environment,regulatory requirements, SAP, Documentum, Microsoft software, gooddocumentation practices, good manufacturing practices, general laboratorypractices and chemical handling. 

·         2. Candidate must also have strongcommunication abilities, interpersonal skills, strong work ethics and be a teamplayer.

Required skills to have for the success of this role.

An associatedegree with minimum of 1-2 years of experience working in a lab.

Ora bachelor’s degree in biology or chemistry or related discipline.

Basicknowledge of chemistry / biochemistry laboratory techniques includingpipetting, analytical balance use, and liquid formulation preparation.

Mustbe flexible and demonstrate the ability to switch priorities to meet businessneeds.
