  • For our Digital Service Center we are looking for anenthusiastic Junior Service Desk Engineer;
  • In your new position as Digital Service Center Engineeryou will be responsible for the excellent functionality by managing andmaintaining a growing number of Siemens managed low and medium voltage productsas well as related service contracats;
  • You are successful when customer problems and requests aresolved in the shortest possible time and availability of the infrastructure is maximum,which both leads to utmost customer happiness;
  • You are the interface between the internal/external Customer,the Siemens internal specialists, as well as 3rd party field service companies;
  • You are responsible to ensure the compliance of SLA limitstowards the customer either by remote maintenance via the tools available toyou or by dispatching field service technicians to seek the issue on site;
  • You will resolve more sophisticated or new issues by rootcause analysis and by advancing the issues with accurate documentation to ourLevel 3 teams and take care for timely resolution;
  • To ensure accurate documentation towards the customer aswell as internally you will supervise and follow up on issues in the availableincident management system;
  • You will continuously improve our knowledge base andprocesses by detailing work instructions and answers to Frequently AskedQuestions;
  • Routing and following up cases through differentorganizations/teams in order to ensure committed resolution times;
  • You will be the dataguard for Asset Database, usingspecific acceptance criteria in order to assure that all assets added to theDatabase have correct information, respectively data integrity control pointsare met;
  • You will be primary remote support point for IoTizationactivities;
  • Your personal goal is to develop a deep technicalunderstanding of our products and its lifecycle;

What do you need to qualify for this job?

  • You are in the last year of university or you are havingBachelor degree in a technical field (electrical engineering, electronics,robotics or similar)
  • You possess general knowledge in electrical engineeringprinciples, including circuit theory, electromagnetics, power systems, You arehaving a strong attention to detail and dedication to quality
  • You characterize yourself as focused and structured. Youhave an eye for detail and you strong dedication to quality.
  • You are having excellent verbal and written communicationskills in English. German is a plus.
