Then come and join our global team as Junior Manager (f/m/d) Treasury Back Office

Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.

This position can be filled in Erlangen, Germany or Lisbon, Portugal.


Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • You will support the alignment within the Treasury worldwide and further interfaces e.g. Accounting, Legal and Compliance
  • You will assist in executing all Treasury back office tasks for FX Hedging such as confirmation matching, regulatory reporting, monitoring of transactions and prolongations
  • You will be responsible for monitoring treasury payments e.g. settlement and netting of payments, maintenance of SSI (Standard Settlement Instructions)
  • You will provide support in ensuring and managing correct regulatory reporting e.g. EMIR and Dodd Frank
  • You contribute in advisory of all treasury-related controls and compliance regulations like Control over Funds (CoF), bank account attestation and central bank reporting
  • You support in digitalization and projects within your area of responsibility
  • You will take over responsibility in coordinating contracts within Siemens Healthineers Treasury as well as with external service providers in regards to treasury management tools

Your qualifications and experience:

  • You hold a master’s degree in business administration or a comparable field
  • You have gained initial Treasury experience (e.g. during an internship or working student position) and in this context, you have already gained knowledge with financial deals and/or treasury back office services
  • Furthermore, you have initial experience with treasury systems e.g., ION ITS, Refinitiv, Bloomberg, Finastra confirmation matching
  • In addition, you have advanced Microsoft Office Skills
  • We also welcome applicants with a bachelor's degree or completed vocational training (e.g. training as a bank clerk) and further education in combination with additional professional experience in Treasury or Treasury related topics

  • To communicate easily in our international (team) setting as well as with international stakeholders, business fluent English skills are necessary; in addition, you ideally speak German
  • In our virtual team setup, you convince us by being a strong team player and always putting the team’s success first
  • You have a sound track record in independently and proactively solving complex problems and presenting multifaceted issues. You always keep an eye on deadlines
  • You work efficiently as well as accurately
  • You think strategically and are motivated to drive forward continuous process optimization, especially with regard to digitalization. You are curious and ready to be involved in digitalization projects related to back office tasks
