Tasks

·      Become part of our dedicated team and provide impulses for sustainableand efficient mobility. You will be responsible for the material field strategyand procurement for a commodity in the field of mechanical components forinnovative rail vehicles.

·      Doing so, you will work in a cross-functional team to develop theoptimum technical solutions together with our suppliers during the developmentphase and to solve single-source situations in existing projects.

·      You will design procurement strategies using game theory methods toachieve the optimum cost/benefit position for projects.

·      Moreover, you will work with the team to manage suppliers in terms ofperformance and quality and implement supplier development measures.

·      You will analyze procurement markets and identify suppliers, capacities,and technologies.

·      Also, you will provide inspiration on the topics of digitalization andprocess optimization for your commodity.

Skills

·      The basis of your success is a degree in economics or a technical orscientific degree (Bachelor).

·      In addition, you will convince us with initial professional experiencein strategic purchasing, alternatively in technical project management.

·      You have gained this expertise in a technical business field and ideallyalready in an international environment.

·      As a result, you have Some base knowledge in dealing with SAP and commondata analysis methods (e.g., CELONIS).

·      As you feel at home in an intercultural environment, you see a futureassignment at one of our international locations as an exciting opportunity.

·      You are business fluent in English and speak good German. Furtherlanguage skills are a plus.

The gross annual payment for this job vacancy is atleast EUR 48.300,00 (full-time). Siemens as an international company offersadditional social benefits.
