Job Description

The IT R&D Program Manager at Siemens Industry Software are trustedmembers of IT management assisting business segments alongside the IT R&DBusiness Partner. They increase business value by leveraging the IT serviceportfolio and finding suitable solutions. Through detailed business knowledgeand understanding, IT R&D Program Manager ensures the business relevance ofIT services provided. The IT R&D Program Manager carries the responsibilityto delivery IT projects in time, within allocated budget and aligning thecorrect IT resources to ensure successful project delivery. The IT R&DProgram Manager needs to be closely embedded in the management circle of theassigned customer and needs to understand both the business processes as wellas the business strategy, and work closely with the IT R&D Business Partnerto be able to develop the correct IT strategy for the assigned business. Byensuring IT fully enables the assigned business, the IT R&D Program Managerindirectly impacts the success of the business regarding revenue, sales, andmargin.

Key Responsibilities:
The IT R&D Program Manager is responsible to ensurethe success of the IT R&D Business Partner Program.  This requires an ability to facilitate, engage,communicate, prioritize, and proactively schedule critical initiatives to allowsuccessful interaction between IT and the R&D organizations.

In addition, thefollowing responsibilities are included for the successful applicant:

• Managemultiple distinct projects in a highly matrixed organization.
• Flexibilityto engage a global organization in multiple time zones.
• Representthe IT Business Partner organization in critical conversations and ensure thecorrect technical representation is available to maximize time and efficiency.
• Articulateand listen to R&D requirements to ensure a win – win scenario forimplementation of new technology services and solutions.
• Continuouslymeasure R&D organizations feedback and share with respective ITstakeholders and service owners as required.

Qualifications:

• Required education and focus
• Bachelor’s or equivalent 10+years of managerial experience
• Required technical experience(including number of years)
• 2+ years of experience withO365 technologies and its impact to R&D organizations
• Required industry experience(including number of years)
• Demonstrated 2+ years’experience working with R&D groups in EDA and PLM in critical initiatives.
• Required work experience(including number of years)
• 5+ years' experience managing multiplecomplex projects including leading large deployments for over 10,000+ R&D stafffor a global organization.
• Required amount of travel withthe position
• Travel required about 10% ofthe time.
• Required knowledge, skills, orexpertise.

·       Demonstrated experienceworking and collaborating with various organizational tiers, includingengagement with Vice Presidents, Executive Teams, Department Heads, and theirdirect reports.

The salary range for this position is $101,200 to$182,200 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actualcompensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location aswell as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, andrelevant education/training.  Siemensoffers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees.
