Then come and join our global External Marketing Platforms team as IT Product Owner (f/m/d) for Adobe Customer Data Platform to optimize the user interaction with our external customers. The External Marketing Platforms team takes care of marketing and communication applications and tools facing external customers.
Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.
The position could also be filled in a Jobsharing work model. We welcome applications from tandems. If you are interested, please submit a joint application from both tandem partners.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- You are responsible for owning and managing our Adobe Customer Data Platform (CDP) to optimize our user interaction
- You collaborate with stakeholders to formulate business requirements and technical specifications necessary to implement CDP-based solutions (supporting customer journey discovery, segmentation & strategy development for data collection)
- You coordinate customer data integrations with other tools, including country roll-out activities (e.g., CRM, Consent Management Platform, Marketing Automation systems, etc.) in close collaboration with our vendor network
- Your main focus in change management will be to implement projects that advance our customer-centric data and operational practices, closely aligning with Business and Data Privacy stakeholders
- You manage the product backlog for this service, are responsible for managing the IT Service (including Incident, Change, and Problem Management) as well as coordinating roadmap realization including user acceptance testing and go-live coordination with international cross functional stakeholders
- You will ensure IT System compliance (e.g., in regards to quality, information security, and data privacy regulation)

Your qualifications and experience:
- You have completed a masters’ degree in the field of computer science, data management, a web-related field or comparable
- You convince with several years of professional experience with Customer Data Platform or Data Management, Data Privacy, or Analytics, ideally in a regulated environment
- We also welcome applicants with a bachelor’s degree combined with additional professional experience in this field
- You possess deep experience with Adobe customer data platform management or comparable platforms
- You have a technical understanding of Marketing tech stack areas (e.g., CMS, Marketing Automation), Cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS), and Consent Management Platforms
- You have profound experience in successfully implementing IT projects using Agile methodologies (i.e., scrum) or other structured methodologies (i.e., Waterfall, Structured Problem Solving), and you understand ITIL Framework Governance guidelines as well as tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Service Now)
- Experience with RESTful API development, integration, & maintenance, especially in the context of CDPs, is a plus

- With your strong problem-solving skills, you can systematically overcome challenges, putting users first
- You have extensive experience working with global and cross-functional teams
- You have a very good command of written and spoken English in order to be able to operate successfully in our international working environment; knowledge of German is an additional plus
- You have the ability to work independently as part of a team
- You have good communication skills and approach tasks in a structured manner with a quick grasp. You like to develop new approaches to solutions and thus bring new impulses to your own team and the organization
