IT Partner

IT Partner Professional – Siemens Limited India.

Reporting to the Head of IT, Siemens Limited India, ITPartner will work closely with the India Corporate Functions and partner withstake holders to drive IT & Digital strategy, solution delivery and IToperations adhering to the technology standards from Global Siemens IT.

IT Partner will lead and coach technology professionals,partners and manage a high-performing team, and will also lead and coach othersin the organization in maximizing efficiency via the use of technology-basedsystems and processes where security and reliability are paramount.

Main tasks and responsibilities (priority – wise):

1. IT Architecture  Strategy –
   1. Design, develop and maintain the IT strategicroad map ensuring that IT capabilities continually support the overallbusiness’s goals and objectives of Siemens Limited in India
   2. Ensure that a Digital Strategy exists forInfrastructure and Applications which maps to the organizational goals andaligns to the Global IT Strategy in determining IT capital investment withregard to business priorities, potential risks, and capacity planning.
   3. Evolve IT Architecture for Enterprise Apps inline with Siemens IT Enterprise Architecture
   4. Ensure compliance with Corporate, regulatoryand IT policies
   5. Interface with business partners to advise andprovide technology related solutions and thought leadership.
   6. Prepare Annual Operations Plan (AOP) for theDepartment along with the IT procurement plan for both hardware and software
2. IT Operations
   1. Ensure a best-in-class IT Solutions and UserSupport to provide high level of employee experience within internal corporatefunctions.
   2. Create selection criteria for vendor products,tools and services related to information security, Work closely them tominimize business disruption and ensure the efficient delivery of services.
   3. Create the IT budget for Corp Applications ,monitor performance against the budget, ensure budget compliance and Developbusiness case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for IT spending andinitiatives across corporate functions.
   4. Authorize / oversee the deployment,monitoring, maintenance, development, and support of all hardware and softwarebased on the needs of Siemens India.
   5. Take lead to review, amend  IT policies, processes, standards, andmethodologies and monitor IT operations to implement new tools and services asappropriate.
   6. Ensure that Cloud based and SaaS services aremonitored, supported to agreed SLAs so that business operations can rely on ahigh degree of service availability
3. Leading Teams
   1. Lead IT Infrastructure and application partnerteams and accomplishes business results by aligning staff performance plans tooperational plan objectives.
   2. Track team goals and performance to ensuretargets are met
   3. Provide exceptional, inspirational leadershipand support to the partner teams
   4. Lead to ensure a safe, secure, anddiscrimination-free work environment; develops personal growth opportunitiesand ensure future skillset and resource requirements are proactively addressed.

1. Change Management
   1. Implementing Siemens IT change managementstrategies that will drive faster adoption and higher utilization to acceleratebenefit realization, return on investment (ROI) and the achievement of results
   2. Ensure compliance with ITSec regulations,process (SOP), governance and audit requirements
   3. Track projects, status, dashboards andproactively communicate with business and project team members and buildmeaningful metrics for business sponsors that demonstrate the impact of changeefforts.
   4. Develop trusted relationships with keypartners within the organization.
2. Risk Management and Incident Response
   1. Keep up-to-date of IT incidents and act assingle point of contact during Major incidents. Convene a IT Incident ResponseTeam as needed, or requested, in addressing and investigating incidents thatarise.
   2. Provide leadership, direction and guidance inassessing and evaluating information security risks and monitor compliance withsecurity standards and appropriate policies.

What you need to make a difference 

• Bachelorsor advanced degree in information technology, computer science, informationsystems, or related field.
• Experience managing and/or directing IT Solutions and Operations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonalskills, with the ability to build, influence and maintain effectiverelationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Skills/Certifications –
  1. Experience in application development andSupport
  2. Experience in ITIL and ITSM
  3. Proven experience in IT strategic planning anddevelopment, project management, IT budgeting and policy development.
  4. Strong practical knowledge of private and publiccloud computing standards
  5. Strong technical and Project Management skillsand leadership qualities
  6. Excellent written, oral and interpersonalcommunication skills with ability to articulate strategy and ideas to seniorstakeholders in business language
  7. Ability to present ideas in business-friendlyand user-friendly language.
  8. Highly self-motivated, self-directed, andattentive to detail.
  9. Ability to effectively prioritize and executetasks in a high-pressure, dynamic environment and manage multiple streams ofprojects and deliverables with a need for adjustments and rapid iteration
