THIS IS YOURNEW ROLE

We are seeking ahighly skilled and experienced Product Manager to join our team responsible forIoT based load management solutions for EV charging hub and RMU installations,comprising of switchgear, hardware sensors, IoT gateways, and cloudapplications.


WHAT PART WILL YOUPLAY?

  • As aProduct Lifecycle Manager, you will be the responsible entrepreneur for IoTofferings for electrical load management in EV charging hubs and secondarydistribution networks with underground cables. This includes the definition andimplementation of the IoT/Cloud/SaaS offerings and related business models, andthe responsibility for the commercial ramp-up and success of the offerings
  • Youwill establish, among other things, the technical description, the business& pricing models, the delivery and execution concepts, the sales materials,calculation methods, standard quotations, and contract templates for scalableroll-out of the IoT/Cloud offerings
  • Youwill stay abreast with emerging technologies and market developments worldwideto address the ever-changing digital transformation landscape for power systems
  • Youwill directly manage strategic customer projects for ensuring the success ofIoT offerings, with your responsibilities ranging from sales support incustomer interactions, to enabling the delivery teams, to overseeing theoperations of the offerings to the customers
  • Youwill work closely with the R&D, Sales, Operations, and Customer Services toseamlessly integrate the IoT offerings with other protection and substationautomation functions
  • Youwill liaise with other teams within the Siemens businesses in pursuingsynergies to grow the IoT business in power automation-intensive markets ofmutual relevance
  • Viaclose cooperation with our regional units, you will ensure that the sales,revenue und margin targets for the IoT offerings are met

WHAT YOU NEED TO MAKE REAL WHATMATTERS

  • You have minimum a bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering
  • You havelongterm relevant experience in two or more of the following fields of MVsystems: consulting, planning, production management, commissioning,operations, maintenance
  • Youhave several years of experience in delivering MV / SDA systems, services, orconsulting in one of more of the following verticals: power grids, industry& infrastructure
  • Youhave strong functional and technical knowledge of medium voltage (MV) and lowvoltage (LV) switchgear and networks, secondary distribution automation (SDA),with deep expertise in one or more of the following areas: load management, DERintegration, network congestion management, energy automation in SDA levels ofthe power grids
  • Youare proficient and experienced in managing and maintaining MV/LV systems usedin EV charging hubs and ring main units (RMUs)
  • Youare proficient and experienced in energy automation concepts, and in applyinginternational standards including IEC 61850 used for energy automation
  • Youbring a strong understanding of product lifecycle management, strategic planning,and can quickly grasp new technologies and translate them into customer benefit
  • Youare proficient in managing / shaping Cloud and IoT offerings for power systemsoperators; your experience with Cloud &IoT go-to-market offerings is highlydesirable
  • Withyour initiative, result-orientation, and good communication skills, you drivetopics to successful results in collaboration and teamwork with diversefaculties
  • You are fluent in both speaking andwriting in English – German language would be a plus
