Internship (f/m/d) as backend python developer for real-time monitoring systems

• You will support the development of real-time monitoring systems for additive manufacturing processes 
• Your tasks include conceptual design, implementation in python and code refactoring, both for new backend functionality and for the existing codebase
• Optionally you will analyze data recorded by the monitoring system to use your insights to improve the monitoring algorithms
• You will work within a team which includes backend and frontend developers as well as experts for the manufacturing processes
• The duration of the internship is based on university regulations and should be at least 3 months
• Our range of tasks is broad and you are encouraged to try new things

What you need to make real what matters

• You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in computer science, engineering, mechatronics or a related subject
• You have solid experience in python and you write good-quality code which other people can understand
• Good knowledge of Linux, git and Docker is an advantage
• Personally, you impress us with a high level of initiative, analytical thinking as well as a structured and independent way of working
• You have good English and/or German skills
