About the Internship
We are looking for ambitious and passionate individuals to join our dynamic team as Product Owner Interns at Brightly Software. As a Product Owner Intern, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the fast-paced world of product management within the realm of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). This internship will provide hands-on experience in various facets of product ownership while contributing to the development and enhancement of our cutting-edge software solutions.
What experience you will gain
Product Discovery and Research:
Conduct market research to identify customer needs and pain points.
Analyze user feedback and data to inform product decisions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and prioritize features.
Agile Methodologies and Sprint Planning:
Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
Assist in maintaining and prioritizing the product backlog.
Work closely with development teams to ensure timely delivery of features and enhancements.
User Experience (UX) and Design:
Gain insights into user experience design principles.
Provide input on user interface (UI) enhancements and usability improvements.
Conduct usability testing and iterate based on user feedback.
Product Metrics and Analytics:
Learn to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure product success.
Utilize analytics tools to track user behavior and engagement.
Analyze data to derive actionable insights for product optimization.
Stakeholder Communication and Collaboration:
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates on project status.
Facilitate communication between development teams, design teams, and other stakeholders.
Develop presentation and documentation skills to articulate product vision and roadmap.
Outcomes:
By the end of the internship, the Product Owner Intern should:
Gain practical experience in product discovery, backlog management, and sprint planning.
Develop a deep understanding of Agile methodologies and their application in software development.
Acquire skills in user research, UX design, and usability testing.
Learn to analyze product metrics and make data-driven decisions.
Enhance communication and collaboration skills by working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus.
Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
