Role Overview

The Siemens Innovation Center Qatar is developing innnovative technologies which are of use for Qatar and Siemens, but is not limited to applications in Qatar only.
Currently technology development projects are executed in the fields of Healthcare, Smart Grid, Automation, Smart Data and Mobility.

We are looking for an entrepreneural minded, technical oriented intern who is eager to participate in the exciting next project start-up phase in the Siemens Innovation Center Qatar, located in the Qatar Science & Technology Park (QSTP).

What are my responsibilities?

·  Support of the Head of Innovation Center regarding the definition of technology development projects
·  Support in the development of business plans in close collaboration with the involved Siemens Business Units and Divisions
·  Carry out technology market research
·  Draft presentations to stake-/shareholders and the executive management
·  Technical assistance within the development projects

What do I need to qualify for this job?

·  Major in Engineering, Business/Management, Mathematics or Natural Science
·  Software and programming background preferred
·  Business and economical understanding is an asset
·  Knowledge of Automation Engineering is an asset
·  Effecting organizational and structured working skills, target and customer oriented
·  Ability to take initiative
·  Open minded to technical hands-on experience
·  Strong strategic and analytic thinking skills
·  Strong skills in creativity, networking and communicating
·  Fluency in English reading, writing and speaking
