About the role

Reporting to the Senior Director of Solution Delivery, you will be responsible for developing comprehensive integration solutions for projects, as well as providing technical support to the sales, project management and support teams. As a Solution Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, configuration, and integration of customer SSO, Calendars, IoT/HVAC building automation and control systems to the Enlighted’s Comfy app. This position will act as a primary liaison between the Enlighted project team and the client’s technical engineers. 

Additionally, you will grow into an Enlighted subject matter expert and use this skillset to support customers with new and existing deployments, ongoing product support and help them realize maximum value.

What will you do?

• Deploying software to integrate with HVAC and IoT systems, authentication and calendar reservation systems.
• Coordinate with customer technical resources to architect and validate integration solutions.
• Collaborate with third parties, and customers to oversee application deployments, API integrations, and BACnet integrations – ensuring a smooth customer experience.
• Perform remote analysis and troubleshooting on devices in Building Automation Systems (BAS) and provide initial solutions for installed systems.
• Collaborate with the Customer Success, Customer Support and Delivery teams to ensure a smooth post-implementation experience for Enlighted clients.
• Shadow Solutions Engineers, Field Engineers, and Project Managers to establish a baseline understanding of the product and learn about Enlighted’s partners and customers.

What will you need to succeed?

• Bachelor’s degree/ Diploma in Computer Science or related disciplines.
• 1-3 years of technical experience in a related field.
• Solid experience working with single sign on and calendaring.
• Deep understanding of common network systems.
• Ability to read and understand software code, specifically Python.
• Experience with databases and database query language.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and experience integrating external APIs.
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills, as you'll often be writing materials that will go directly to clients.
• Excitement about working with cross-functional teams while simultaneously participating in multiple complex projects from start to finish.

 Assets

• HVAC system knowledge and system integrations with a basic knowledge of components (VAV’s, Air-Handlers, Pumps, unit ventilators, etc.)
• Prior programming experience and familiarity with logical operations (PLC).
• Experience with AWS and/or Kubernetes.
• Proficiency creating detailed design diagrams and presentations with tools such as Visio and Power Point.
• Experience with IoT sensors.
