Your new role – challenging andfuture-oriented:

  • Responsible for instrumentation and wiring (I+W) development forgenerator customer order engineering (COE) projects from around the globe
  • Preparing wiring diagram (WD) which includes showing location ofsensors (various RTDs, thermocouples, vibration sensors, leakage detectors,flux probe, heaters, lighting, PMG/exciter connections, rotor fault detection,rotor grounding etc.) junction boxes, possible cable/conduit routing, terminalblock arrangement etc.
  • Depicting/deciding arrangement of neutral grounding equipment,instrument transformers, over-voltage protection in the wiring diagram based onsingle line diagram (SLD)
  • Preparation of I+W bill of material (BoM) in SAP following thedesign group structure (internal guidelines)
  • Support to shopfloor (global factories) answering qualitynotification (QN) through SAP system, accepting/rejecting deviation, providingsolution to cause least impact.

We don’t need superheroes, just super minds:

  • B. Tech in Instrumentation & Controls/Electrical/ElectronicEngineering with 3-5 years of experience in relevant field
  • Knowledge of basic working principles of instruments like RTDs,thermocouples, vibration sensors etc. is a must.
  • Knowledge of requirements governing ATEX/UL certification is anadded advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of working principles of synchronous generator(machines) and its functional components
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders, self-motivated and ateam player.
