Job description

Digital sales is the process of selling products and services remotely. This means that Inside Sales people meet their sales prospects in the virtual world. They use phone calls, chat, emails, video conferencing, social media and more to maintain relationships with their leads, prospects, and customers. Inside Sales is also known as virtual sales or remote sales. It usually takes place behind a desk and has the benefit that salespeople can sell to anyone, regardless of distance.

As a Technical Inside Sales Representative (m/f/x) you will drive customers' decision making either in conjunction with general sales channels or in direct contact with customers.


What will you be doing?

  • Proactively engage with customers to develop business using an outbound sales call approach. Use remote communication channels video, chats, telephone, social media to interact with customers.
  • Partake in lead generation strategies, such as cold calling, to identify business prospects and create a list of potential customers.
  • Establish an executable plan with clear tasks to identify, follow-up and close business opportunity.
  • Provide and share relevant marketing information related to products, services, and solutions to customers.
  • Analyze end customers' needs and support their decision-making process.
  • Act as a “trust-in-person” contact to spot opportunities and prospects, prequalify customer contacts by remote customer contact.
  • Drive dedicated digital enabled actions along the customer journey.
  • Manage sales pipeline and develop accounts to uncover and close new sales opportunities within Inside Sales prerequisites.
  • Work with BUs Product or Portfolio Managers to understand specific products and services that are suited for Inside Sales customers or the served markets targeted for Inside Sales.
  • Maintain accurate records of target accounts, opportunities, quotes, projects, contacts in Sie Sales (CRM).
  • Routinely review new and existing accounts to validate their growth potentials in terms of dealing with these accounts remotely.
  • Set and meet sales goals and objectives set by country/BUs respective management.
