Job Description

What are my responsibilities?

·  Complete pre-commissioning and commissioning activities across application types and control systems
·  To carry out both scheduled and emergency maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of Siemens Industrial Gas turbines regarding the control system, electrical equipment and instrumentation whether domestically or abroad.
·  Assess operational criteria and provide technical reports
·  Cooperate with Client / Contractors personnel
·  Full compliance with EHS rules
·  Read control logic, carry out check on fire and gas monitoring system, Perform starting and running checks (including operating and driven unit knowledge), perform root cause analysis of start failure.
·  Manage and lead onsite teams (Siemens staff, third party workers and Customer operatives).

What do I need to qualify for this job?

·  Engineering Education (Control/ Automation/Electrical).
·  minimum 5 years' experience in relevant areas (TB, SGT and the driven units Generator, compressor.)
·  Perfect working knowledge of Siemens gas turbine control systems (Siemens PCs7, S7, Allan Bradley ControlLogix), electrical equipment and instrumentation.
·  Perfect working knowledge of Siemens gas turbine operation and maintenance
·  Basic mechanical knowledge of Gas turbine and driven unit
·  Excellent level of verbal and written English
