Human Resources Internship

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to work for a multi-national company? Siemens Healthineers in is offering students or recent graduates living in UAE the opportunity to gain valuable experience within its HR team.

What is the format of the internship?



·  Location Dubai (UAE) , duration: 6 months
·  The internship is full time basis from Sunday to Thursday, 40 hours per week
·  Part time basis – minimum 20 hours per week – may be considered for the right candidate
·  The monthly stipend during the program is AED 3400 (pro-rated for part time)
·  It is required for the candidate to be under student or parent/spouse sponsored visa valid for the duration of the internship
·  It is required to have the student status when starting the internship

What are the main responsibilities?

·  Data management: update and maintenance of employees' records; filing of hard and soft copies
·  Ideas for improving internal processes / input for different HR projects
·  Conducting Damex Check & BCG Check
·  Employment Contract check & Preparation
·  Application & deletion of health insurance cards
·  reports of new hires/leavers/existing employees
·  Prepare management presentations
·  Support HR team in daily operations
·  Organize and maintain a filing system for the visa section
·  Work closely with Head of HR and HR Advisor on specific projects

What are the minimum requirements?

·  Business Administration or HRM degree preferable
·  Prior background/experience in HR good to have but not a must
·  Excellent MS Office skills (specifically Excel and Word)
·  Excellent knowledge of English, Arabic is a bonus
·  Attention to detail
·  Excellent communication skills
·  Very Good analytical skills
·  Highly responsible and able to work independently and as part of a team
