Job description

EH&S Responsabilities:

Report to the CEO of Siemens Logistics of the performance of the function and support the rest of the business units to implement the EHS Siemens Standards.

Adapts, promotes and deploy global EHS programs and initiatives and monitors their effectiveness., lead the implementation and continuous improvement of the Zero Harm Culture program within the all company.

Ensure the effective integration of the EHS functions in all levels of organization promoting safety leadership principles to reduce accident ratio within the company.

Applies and verifies implementation of ISO principles and requirements.

Plans, implements and follows up the audit/assessment/inspections program (including certification audits where applicable).

Liaise with external legal authorities regarding accidents and reporting and follow-up of incidents and other damaging events which can create impact on projects and business.

Define and deploy environmental principles aligned with Siemens standards, implementing the environment protection policy within the organization.

Manages organization unit(s) assigned, and leads and/or coordinates dedicated management and staff, ensuring the coordination with stakeholders (customers and contractors)

Ensure the compliance with the legal requirements regarding environment and health and safety across the organization.

Support the organization to manage the COVID impact and follow-up of legal requirements aligned with Spanish health authorities.

Liaise with global EHS Siemens Logistics Global team to be updated with new global requirements and report KPIs regarding function performance.

Support the organization regarding Product Safety requirements.

Quality Responsabilities::

Acts as quality consultant for own organization.             

* Manages organization unit(s) assigned, and leads and/or coordinates dedicated supervisors and professionals.

* Collaborates with the QM-network and business accountable units (e.g. R&D, Purchase, SPS etc.)  to achieve quality business goals.

* Ensures implementation and improvement of the quality part of the Integrated Management System (including process management) for the respective organization according to the overall quality strategy and respective local regulations.

* Executes the audit program (including certification where applicable) and assessments.

* Implements the global quality programs within his organization and monitors the effectiveness of these programs.

Drives continuous improvement with his management and lessons learned across assigned organizations.

* Ensures that product safety activities are in line with internal and external regulations.

* Contributes to analyze customer quality requirements and satisfaction (e.g. NPS) appropriately in order to meet customer expectations.

* Ensures that quality specific external communication towards customers and to external authorities.

* Contributes to the identification of internal and external regulations in cooperation with country organization and processes are developed to meet these requirements.

* Ensures professional non-conformance (NC) management and reporting.

* Ensures and controls implementation of quality methods and risk management in processes, projects and products (8D, RCA, Q-Gates, FMEA)

* Ensures and improves the relevant quality reporting including Management Review.

* Plans and proposes quality budget, and decides allocation of related financial and personnel resources, within given limits.

* Executes with HR the competence management and training system for quality related competences.

* Implements and adapts the communication to ensure understanding and awareness of specific quality topics.

Needs advanced management understanding in order to lead and align employees in different workflows and / or projects organization environment. Planning and managing results and performance is essential.

Applicant's Profile:  

Studies: Bachelor Degree

Postgraduate Additional Studies: EH&S Master (full scope with the 3 specialities)

Environment Management studies

OHSAS 18001 e ISO45001 management systems deep knowledge- minimum 3 years job experience-

ISO 9001 and ISO 5001 in place deep knowledge – Local Energy Efficiency background -minimum 3 years job experience-

Deep knowledge of Spanish Labour & Security Laws.

High  level of English language  , Spanish language native.

Available for national trips (mainly Palma de Mallorca)

Professional experience: as Q EH&S Manager in projects ideally in Airport/Aeronautic Industry environment

Others: Work permit in place required (None Visa sponsorship provided)
