What do you contribute?

  • In your new role, you coordinate the Project Operations activities and roles within the business segment offers/projects (Light Rail)
    • Documentation management
    • Requirements management
    • Verification management
    • Configuration management (hardware serialization)
    • Technical change management
    • Project Operations Officer
  • You are responsible for the project operations budget and offer calculations for the project operations tasks.
  • You lead and qualify an international team with members from different locations and countries and appoint the team members for the Project Operations activities for the offers/projects of the business segment.
  • You will drive process/method standardization in the area of Project Operations and specify and adapt the relevant guidelines.
  • You ensure the availability of qualified resources for Project Operations activities according to Light Rail offer/project requirements.
  • You will continuously improve and increase productivity in your own area of responsibility and share best practices and lessons learned across the Business Unit.


What do you bring along?

  • You have a master's degree in engineering.
  • You have many years of professional experience in the management/sub-project management of technically highly complex offer or execution projects (e.g. plant engineering, rail technology or aerospace), preferably in the rolling stock sector.
  • You also have experience in the technical and disciplinary management of larger teams. You are used to acting with intercultural competence in international project environments.
  • Furthermore, you are process-oriented and have a pragmatic approach to proposal/project management.
  • You have a very good command of English and a willingness to travel (approx. 10-20%) for your role with global responsibility. Knowledge of German is a plus.
